ASSISTANT · VOICE · AVATAR
Sirena
A visible Flemish desktop assistant with a local AI brain, voice and avatar — that doesn't just answer, but carries out real actions on your computer.
RESULT
Talks, listens and carries out real computer actions — with a local AI brain, no cloud.
01 THE PROBLEM
AI assistants usually live in a chat window and stop at talking. Sirena is an experiment in the other direction: an assistant you see and hear, in the Dutch spoken here, that can actually do things on your computer.
02 WHAT IT DOES
- Visible and audible
- An avatar on your desktop, with a Flemish voice. You talk to her, she talks back.
- Local brain
- The language model runs on your own machine. Your conversations and files never leave your computer.
- Real actions
- Integrations to open files, launch programs, look up information and carry out tasks — with confirmation where it belongs.
- Extensible
- Add new skills as modules, so Sirena grows with what you need.
03 WHAT I LEARNED
Voice and avatar instantly make an assistant feel ‘more real’ — and so it gets judged more strictly. Latency, reliability and clear confirmations matter more than yet another feature.
